I obtained my Ph.D.in Molecular Biology and Genetics from the University of Alberta, Canada in 2005. I have published numerous scientific papers, book chapters and have given multiple presentations at national and international conferences on my research. During my time, as a graduate student, and later as a professor, I was actively involved in mentoring and community outreach projects involving various groups, ranging from elementary students to seniors. I was also awarded numerous commendations for teaching, as well as several teaching awards.
My teaching philosophy is best exemplified by the quote by G.B. Shaw: “I am not a teacher, only a fellow traveler of whom you asked the way”. I have always tried to make whatever subject matter that I am teaching to be fun, relevant and exciting.
Our science classes will focus on a variety of Biology, Chemistry and Physics concepts. All the topics we will be utilizing a fun and hands-on approach, and make the students won’t even realize how much they have learned!!!Edit this text to make it your own. To edit, simply

I was born and raised in a big family, in beautiful city Baku, Azerbaijan. I hold Master Degree in Science. Since my early years of school, I have a big passion for an art and it also comes from my family roots as well.
I had my first small exhibit in 2003, Baku, Azerbaijan, where I have presented my early art pieces. Since 2008 and present I had several successful presentations and art shows in Texas. We have been traveling a lot of countries with my family. I speak four languages, Azeri, Turkish, Russian, and English. This mixture of European and Middle East cultures influenced and inspired me in most of my art works. Since 2011 I have been teaching and volunteering art classes for children, adults and seniors in different schools and organizations.
In my classes I teach different styles, patterns and artists around the world. I also use wide range of mixed media technics and methodic to inspire and involve children to be more creative in future!
My Art Classes will help children discover and learn:
1. Colors 2. Style 3. Fantasy 4. Problem Solving 5. Ability to Focus 6. Love of Art
